If you buy products from Amazon Global Store or other online store which ships from overseas then you have to submit a valid ID proof issued by the Government. People living in India can submit the following documents:-
- Aadhar Card (or)
- Driving License (or)
- Passport (or)
- Voter ID Card
To upload your ID proof, go to ‘Your Orders’ page where you can see the upload option.
I have already uploaded the ID proof but it still showing missing identity proof document?
In case you have already submitted the copy of one of your ID proofs, then you don’t have to do anything. Just wait for some time and in the next tracking status update, you will see the information about where will your shipment be. You should receive your delivery within 3 to 15 days from USA. If you are in Delhi then you should get it in 3 days but if you are in remote locations like Palakkad, Madurai then you have to wait around 10 days. While receiving your item, you should show your ID proof to the courier guy and sign acknowledgement for receiving the courier.
